If you've ridden the North York Moors with Bridle Rides, send us your photos and stories and we'll put them up here for you
Beverley Nicholson and Joanne Baldwin - May 2005
Beverley and Joanne did a 3-day place to place ride in the east of the network around Robin Hood's Bay, Harwood Dale and Newton-upon-Rawcliffe. We picked this photo out of the three Joanne sent us after the ride because it is fairly typical of the network area - so much so that we aren't sure exactly where it was taken!
Beverley is on the left riding her piebald gelding, Finigan - and Joanne is on the right on Bella.
Beverley returned the girls' feedback form under separate cover with lots of really detailed feedback on the routes, which helps us to target our regular re-rides more effectively. She commented "The B&B in Newton-upon-Rawcliffe was outstanding and all the horse accommodation was excellent. Overall we had an excellent holiday and hope to do it again next year".
Anne Cullen - May 2003
Anne wrote to us at the end of the 2003 season to say "Enclosed are photos of Barbara and Meagan and Jack and I (Meagan and Jack are the horses!) on our Yorkshire Moors riding holiday last May - probably the best holiday we've ever had - although we don't say that to our husbands!".
The two girls chose one of the 3-day place-to-place rides in the eastern half of the North York Moors National Park. Their photos show a combination of open moor near Fylingdales (left) and a lovely green verge near Cropton on the southern edge of the network (below left).
Herbie from Bridle Rides wears a normal leather bridle with a headcollar underneath - but we really like the synthetic headcollar bridles that Meagan and Jack are modelling in these pictures.
