Tessa Malyon and friends - April 2007
Tessa and her 3 friends did a 2-day place to place ride between Cranborne village and Sutton Mandeville - and had lovely weather in early April. Their feedback was brief and to the point because they's done this same ride before, but they all really enjoyed their weekend!
The photo above was taken on the Downs overlooking the Nadder Valley, the the two below were both taken outside one of the pub-stops, the Queens Head in Broad Chalke.

Norah Pepper and Karen Considine - May 2006
When we asked her about the horse in the photos, Karen told us that "we swapped horses just to confuse you" - so both pictures are of Norah's steed, 17 year old Seamus, with Karen on board in the photo on the left and Norah map reading in the one below.

At 17.3 hands Seamus is a huge horse, and Karen, who is a bit shorter than Norah, found it difficult to reach gate catches and to get back on without a mounting block.

Norah and Karen did a 3-day place to place ride around the heart of Cranborne Chase starting near Cranborne before heading north west to Sutton Mandeville and south to Ashmore before returning to Cranborne again. They rode during the first week in May - and as you can see, they had lovely weather for bridle riding!

Alex Bonnell - June 2005
Other then telling us she's had a lovely time, Alex sent us lots of lovely photos. She and her friend chose the one-centre holiday at the joining point between the Cranborne Chase and Great Ridge networks.
The photo above left is of Alex on the downs above the Nadder Valley between Salisbury and Shaftesbury, and the one above right shows the two horses relaxing in one of our host's paddocks.
