Angela Gotheridge - Easter 2004
"Thank you for a great holiday, you even booked the weather - nice and dry and sunny and not too hot! The scenery around Bedfordshire was fantastic, so many bridlepaths leading off everywhere and lots of fields with big tracks down the side just asking to be galloped on. The horses obviously thought the same, because they were off when I was checking the routes with my friend, Claire, on more than one occasion! The overnight stops were all lovely - the hosts were warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us." (Angela)
The picture above shows Angela holding the horses, Trigger and Star, on the Three Shires Way near the bridge across the River Great Ouse at Lavandon Mill.

Chris Banks and Lesley Martin - 2002
"Thanks for another brilliant holiday". (Chris)
The photo below is a "between the ears" shot taken by Chris of Lesley and her horse, Breezy, in the rain near the A14 at Keyston. Chris's comment was "Your instructions said something about 'as you ride beside the A14 people whizzing by in their cars will look at you and wish they were you'. It was so wet that we wished we were in a warm dry car rushing home on the road!" Although they had a wet first day, the weather was much better for the next two. Overall, Chris and Lesley had a really good time and even made a Powerpoint slide show and e-mailed it to their friends. This takes a while to download, so we've included a selection of their photos to share with you!
The picture above is of Lesley Martin on Breezy overlooking Grafham Water.
The one below of Chris and Riff Raff in an arable field shows the gentle, easy terrain in the northern part of Bedfordshire. Chris and Lesley describe their horses as "dressage cobs" - although they love Bridle Riding too!

Debi Wood - May 2003
"I just wanted to let you know what a great holiday this turned out to be for all of us, horses included. The accommodation was good and the food superb. The rides were a joy and we only got lost once, but got back on track without difficulty. The George at Spaldwick (one of the pub-stops, which has since changed hands) could not have been better, because as we arrived it started to rain - so they stabled the horses and gave them hay while we went in to eat!"
